BPI Testing, LLC is certified by NEBB to perform Sound Measurement. As of August 2019, our firm is the only firm in the state of Illinois with this certification. We utilize NIST calibrated sound meters to measure sound levels. HVAC equipment is one of the main sources of noise in building environments. Design engineers specify sound levels for types of rooms and spaces. By measuring the sound levels, we demonstrate whether rooms are meeting those criteria levels.
